My father in law is a industrial contractor and he says renovations will only return about 30% of what is invested to make the changes and that doesn’t include structural costs.

Book 3 of 30 is published. Arachnette. This one is quite fun. Also, I had about 40% of it already drafted so it wasn't written from scratch. It wasn't a clean draft, had alternate openings and various ideas from last year. But when a project gets muddled with alternate scene options and so on, I usually abandon it. This time AI helped me clean it up and plow through. I only did it because I set up the preorder a year ago and it was time to deliver. Anyway, yet another book is out. If it goes well I'll finish book 2.

I’m done pretending AI writing is a gimmick. I’m going to use it to build the kind of shelf traditional authors are too slow to build.
