As we bid farewell to our esteemed Director, Dr. A. A. Mao, on his superannuation, we celebrate a legacy of visionary leadership and remarkable achievements at the Botanical Survey of India.
Dr. Mao's tenure has been marked by a steadfast commitment to advancing botanical research and fostering a deeper appreciation for biodiversity. He fostered partnerships with national and international organizations, ensuring that our research has a global impact.
As Dr. Mao embarks on the next chapter of his journey, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for his unwavering dedication and visionary leadership. His contributions have set a solid foundation for future growth and innovation at the BSI. He also will be remembered for his simplicity and down-to-earth attitude, traits that endeared him to many and set him apart as an exemplary figure.
We all wishing him healthy, happy life ahead. His legacy will continue to inspire us to explore, protect, and cherish the rich biodiversity of our planet. 📷📷
