We look forward to honoring Brittney Rezaei as the recipient of our 2024 Community Impact Award at our 17th Annual Gala on November 2, 2024.

She has provided expertise on race and ethnicity categories to organizations like the American Medical Association. Thanks to her important research and advocacy, the 2030 Census will, for the first time, include Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) as a category option.

Ms. Maghbouleh is the Canada Research Chair in Race, Ethnicity, Migration, and Identity at the, University of British Columbia. Her 2017 book, “The Limits of Whiteness: Iranian Americans and the Everyday Politics of Race,” received honors from multiple organizations.
