Sadly, our community suffered a tremendous loss this weekend. Yesterday, I took to commemorate the life of Assistant Chief Doug Armour of the Maple Ridge Firefighters. I offer my heartfelt condolences to his family. Doug leaves a proud legacy of service to our community.

We’re extremely grateful that one of our members was able to be pulled out of the dark of fighting a #Northvan warehouse fire with injuries that are hopefully fully recoverable. This event had the potential to be much worse. 🍀
