Hamilton Firefighters send our condolences to @CFDLocal2 on the LODD of Lt. Jan Tchoryk. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lt. Tchoryk Family, Friends, and brothers and sisters at Chicago Fire. We wish a speedy recovery to the other injured firefighters in these past incidents.

On behalf of Hamilton Firefighters, we send our deepest condolences on the @CFDLocal2 LODD. Our thoughts and prayers are with Firefighter Pelt’s family, friends, and Chicago Firefighters.

Today we pause and reflect on the date of the historic Butler County Courthouse Fire that claimed the lives of three Hamilton Firefighters in March 1912. Firefighters John Hunker, George Fritz, and William Love died following the collapse of the dome clock tower due to the fire.

Hamilton Firefighters are on scene of two additional confirmed working structures fire at different locations in the city. Multiple mutual aid units responding to assist Hamilton Fire crews. First arriving units on scene at both incidents reporting heavy fire and smoke showing!

Over these past 105 years, great accomplishments have been made in the health, safety, working conditions, and to dignified retirements for our firefighters. We continue that work so many before us dedicated much of their lives to improving this great profession and union. (2of3)

On this date, 105 years ago, members of the Hamilton City Firemen’s Union Local 15399 (affiliated with AFL in 1917) made the trip to Washington D.C. to become one of the original charter members of the @IAFFofficial. (1of3)

We are sadden to report the passing of Former Fire Chief Lyle Moore. Chief Moore dedicated is life in service as @USMC veteran, 27 years in the fire service, and an active member in IAFF Local 20. We send our thoughts and prayers to his family. @Ohio_pro_ffs @IAFFofficial

Hamilton Firefighters are saddened to learn of the LODD of FF Johnny Tetrick of @ClevelandFire, Engine 22. FF Tetrick was struck by a vehicle while operating on a scene of a MVA. We send our thoughts and prayers to the Tetrick family and our brothers and sisters of @Cleveland_FFs

Several of our newest members were officially sworn into IAFF Local 20 membership. They took their oath and became a part of our distinguish local then place their name on our membership boards dating back to the 1800s. Congratulations Brothers! @Ohio_pro_ffs @IAFFofficial
