The #Patriots have yet to retain any of their own free agents: Chaisson (Commanders), Tonga (Chiefs), Hawkins (Ravens), Lowe (49ers), Hooper (Falcons), Austin (Dolphins), Gibbens (Cardinals).
Could be clearing the decks for draft picks at EDGE, TE, OT, LB, S?
@zerowalls@thatghosthouse@ezlazar I can promise you they aren’t going into the season with 2 LB. Going into this season you were high on Gibbens, Tonga, and Chassion?
@thatghosthouse@ezlazar It is. They are going into the season with two LB. One that missed a lot of time with a foot injury and it’s 33 years old when Devyn Loyd and Chenal were FA. And they are going with two 29+ year olds at DE. One missed 6 games and practiced less than half of the year.
Seen some discourse over what jersey number new Patriots WR Romeo Doubs will wear next season.
If he picks #87, Doubs could become the first NE wideout to have 600+ receiving yards while wearing a jersey in the 80-89 range since Kendrick Bourne in ‘21.
It’s been a while, but Freddy T took a shot at Rich today. While discussing producers this morning, Fred said that Rich announced that they were going to pay Mike Lockhart’s salary without even talking to the company. Fred clarified that Beasley ended up paying him. @bostonradio
@IAM_bigDIRTY@datchuguyy It’s really semantics (which was my original point that it was worded weird)
He went to the citadel when he was 9. He wasn’t the rightful heir then (you keep saying he was the rightful heir before he went)
When his dad took over, he wasn’t even the rightful heir.
@RFnosebleeds@datchuguyy Right, but they went to him while he was at the Citadel because he was older than Egg, next in line. But he refused. If he was younger than Egg, then it wouldn’t have been a thought.
I live in Maine, the state runs snow plows when it starts snowing. They run all through the storm so this doesn’t happen.
The incompetence here is astounding, 30” of snow or not. We’ve had ‘feet’ of snow here.
This video is from Providence Rhode Island 24 hrs after the storm.
Mike Vrabel on the future of the #Patriots:
“You build a house, you buy a house, and what you do when you like it is you build onto it and you remodel. That’s what we’re gonna do. Finish the basement and maybe put on an addition or two.”

February 11, 1995: Harold Miner of the Miami Heat wins the NBA Slam Dunk Championship in Phoenix.
Miner defeated Isaiah Rider of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Jamie Watson of the Utah Jazz in the finals. Other contestants were Tony Dumas, Antonio Harvey and Tim Perry.
.@MikeReiss asked Mike Vrabel about the Warriors patch on his vest. For whatever reason, Vrabel deflected with a grin:
“I’m not - this was a gift, so I can’t talk about it. It was a gift.” 😏
