@IAO131 This is very intriguing. I agree... While also falling into the occultist camp. I think the issue most often ESPECIALLY in modern moments is it's a lackluster landscape of distilled information instead of original theory and practices. But curious for your perspective

So if anything, Thelemic attainment is primarily a dissolution of boundaries, a destruction of identity in a way. Crowley made 2 spiritual experiences the center of his system of enlightenment; not stages of knowledge or power but crises of encounter with an overpowering divine.

Attainment in Thelema is annihilation, not accumulation. Initiation is not the hoarding of grades, titles, and magical implements, because nothing possess-able can survive annihilation. Attainment is the radical opening of the soul to the divine of the Angel and the Abyss.

Thelema isnt therapeutic, its initiatory. Its not meant to make you “feel better” or validate you as you are now. It is meant to initiate: to tear down old beliefs & perspectives, to expose oneself to unfamiliar conditions, and through trial/ordeal to become who you really are.
