@m_stormwitch @neon_heartbeat Also let's not forget that Flanagans adaptations ALWAYS change the original story in some pretty hefty ways. Not saying its exactly the same as thr book, but its not supposed to be. Hes making Margaret a good guy now, so im willing to see his interpretation

I mean, he left her with all of her dead friends that she had killed. Either Nikki went to prison, or she killed herself too

When the real Nikki begs him to kill her, and (big spoilers) he kills himself at the end, leaving real Nikki to live with it

@DiscussingFilm Nikki def is a victim, but I also don’t think Bear was a monster…no one in their right mind would actually think that wish stick would work, and even though he had multiple chances to end it all and chose a selfish route, that’s still a rlly tough position to be in too

Running over someone’s foot with a wheelchair is an accident.

I absolutely have sympathy for people who struggle with disabilities. But if you use a wheelchair and accidentally run over someone’s foot you instantly apologize The lack of any apology whatsoever from him — after hurting so many people— sets his own cause back. BBC failed too.
