And too often, what we get is silence, speeches, and photo opportunities — instead of real investment where it matters most. Where are the summer programs? Where are the youth jobs? Where are the violence prevention investments? Where are the safe spaces, mentorship programs, and community partnerships that can save lives? As schools prepare to close for summer break, parents across the Bronx deserve answers: ➡️ What programs are being offered to keep our youth safe, engaged, and employed? ➡️ What opportunities are being created in Black and underserved communities? ➡️ What organizations on the ground are being funded to do the real work? ➡️ What is the emergency plan to stop our youth violence crisis — right now?
