I miss my girl so much! This needs to end NOW. There is absolutely no reason an 11-year-old dog with a loving family should still be sitting in prison after six flipping weeks. None! This is not “justice.” This is abuse of the law. It is government overreach at its finest! It is petty, vindictive, weaponized enforcement of stupid technicalities.  For two years, my family has endured harassment, intimidation, stalking, slander, endless police visits, court appearances, and public humiliation over barking dogs and a dog slipping her collar on her own property. And instead of protecting us from obvious abuse of the system, the courts allowed it to continue and have now poured salt where there was already a wound. Enough! Lucy is not dangerous. Even officials involved have admitted they do not believe she is a danger! Yet they continue to keep her locked away from her family, her home, her animals, and the only life she has ever known. That is animal cruelty! Lucy slipped off her collar. She was then kidnapped by the state and our lives continue to be a living hell. We didn’t ask for any of this! What an outrageous hill to die on for those in power who can snap their fingers and make it away. The longer this goes on, the more obvious it becomes that this was never about “public safety.” It was about power, pride, and punishing a family that refused to be bullied into silence. It was about making us an example.  Well, I am done being silent. You picked the wrong family to try and intimidate. This doesn’t go away. We are going to get louder. We are going to keep fighting.
