Our team represented today at the @ugent_fge research day. @jade_celis is presenting her GAS on fibrostenotic CD, @Febe_Vertriest is showing her study on the effect of mycotoxins on colorectal cancer, and @hannah_lernout is discussing her poster on fatigue in IBD remission.

Congratulations to @hannah_lernout for your intruiging talk at the @birdgroup_be session today at #BWGE23. She presented the results of a study performed together with @marie_truyens in which extinguished chronic colitis was linked to behavioral changes and neuroinflammation.

@marie_truyens presented two interesting case studies at #BWGE23 today. She finished her presentation with a clear and clarifying overview of the role of IL-17 in IBD.

Great poster from @lmderoo at #BWGE23! She presented her study "Safety of vedolizumab, ustekinumab and TNF-inhibitors in patients with inflammztory bowel disease: a retrospective study". Interesting work!

A very interesting presentation of Tom Holvoet at #BWGE23 today! He presented the results of an ustekinumab effectiveness study in a multi-centric, real-life cohort of highly refractory UC patients. Well done! 👏👏

Congratulations to @GeldofJeroen, who presented the results of the BELCOMID study today at #BWGE23. His research showed that immunomodulating treatment modalities, active smoking, and (repeated) COVID19 vaccination affect S-antibody seroconversion in IMID patients. @birdgroup_be
