Folks, I’m devastated this morning to learn of the passing yesterday of our dear sensei, Peter Renaday. Pete was one of the most genuine, salt of the earth people I have ever known and I will miss him dearly. I had the privilege of visiting with him a month ago and he was as vibrant as ever, at 89 just as endearingly silly, smart and talented as I’ve always known him to be. Ugh, this is hard… a Disney legend and our dear Master Splinter— rest well, my sweet friend.😔🙏❤️

@ben_edlund Best. Theme. Ever. I remember the watch party on the Fox lot shortly before the show premiered, and being completely blown away hearing the theme song for the first time. Doug Katsaros… wowsers.

Doug Katsaros composed it, did an amazing job — I told him I wanted a classic Gene Krupa drum beat and then at one point I had a waking dream of a bunch of men hum-humming the theme, kind of a bumblin, tryin to be heroic men’s chorus. Then Doug SCATTED all over it like a boss :)

This Tuesday evening, the actual 30th Anniversary of The Tick premiere… join us!! SPOOOOONNNN!!! And stuff.
