Amitabh bachchan was in serious financial trouble when he made that decision. Whereas the three Khans have made sure 7 generations following them are financially settled. If they can't do main roles anymore, they would retire. No need to supporting roles.

Whatever you may say, Amitabh Bachchan was quite wise to shift from leading roles to supporting characters as he grew older and recognized he could no longer convincingly play the hero. Today’s Khans should consider doing the same—they’re all reaching a stage where leading roles may no longer suit them.

However, most western artists have creative freedom in that assembly line. They have a say on the songs they are singing. After all they are singers not producers. Whereas 99% kpop groups are just puppets in the hands of their companies with zero to nil creative control.

@jammypants4 It's a production house, not a person it doesn't need to stick to an Identity. They can and should explore genres and stories. If a production house has an identity it should come from a choice of preference rather than a consciously set up boundaries or a fear to explore.
