@MattSakR2NG Imagine that. A coaching failure. Sadly Kentucky appears to be irrelevant now in the eyes of big time recruits. Kentucky is no longer feared by opponents.
This is an inexcusably horrendous performance
But I cannot express how important it is that we are talking about how bad this game was following a win rather than a loss
Please just win
It has been an underwhelming season for Kentucky basketball, no doubt, but playing most of the season without 3 of your top 6–7 guys has an impact.
While underachieving to this point this season, Mark Pope also overachieved in Year 1, setting an NCAA record for most Top 15 wins in a season and getting UK to a Sweet Sixteen, with a short-handed roster.
Firing coaches every time adversity hits isn't realistic.
Mark Pope:
“Our pace in the half court is awful and it’s making everything so hard for us…we are trying to simplify everything to make it easier for everyone but we just aren’t there and man it is frustrating”
I just listened to the Mark Pope Show. It was….interesting
I really think he needs someone to help him with communicating to the fanbase. Because he isn’t really connecting…at least I don’t think he is
People want answers and basketball talk, not Tony Robbins quotes
Kentucky is 1-5 against ranked opponents. The Cats have been outscored 256-183 in the first halves of those games.
Changing the starting lineup may not solve all of Kentucky's issues, but it's a good place to start.

Mark Pope’s final segment with Tom Leach was another example of him being fairly bad in post-loss situations:
Q “What did you tell the locker room after the game?”
A - “A lot of things”
Q “What needs to be better in the future?”
A - “That’s a long list”
Q - What are specific things to take away from this game?”
A - “Not a lot from this game. We need to play harder”
That was it. And it was awkward as it reads
The SEC is expanding to nine conference games. What does it mean for Kentucky?
- More Money
- The Governor's Cup Survives
- A Challenging Schedule just got a lot Harder

I will note that the earlier story about Dane Key visiting Louisville was in this article. It has since been removed
I believe the author fell for a Dane Key burner account. portal.rivals.com/news/portal-ru…
Been checking with sources who cover the Biden campaign. According to them, there was a distinct shift yesterday in the tone from morning to evening. The Biden camp started yesterday defiant that Joe Biden would not be dropping out. By evening, that had shifted. Kamala Harris is seriously being considered to have her "moment" at the top of the ticket. She's also the only one who can keep the campaign's money. A lot will hinge on this George Stephanopoulos interview on July 5. If Biden performs poorly, they don't see how he survives. Nothing will happen either way until then.
