New analysis from @ICAUS shows extreme weather generated $4.8 billion in insured losses in 2025, with more than $4.1 billion of that coming from Queensland alone.

Today nearly 30 industry groups, including @ICAUS called on the government to cut red tape by 25% by 2030 to lower costs. The recent announcement from Jessica Stojkovsk (@JStojkovskiMLA ), WA’s Assisting Minister Transport on WA's crash towing reforms under the Towing Services Act 2024 is an important step for consumer protection. However, @ICAUS believes the Act can go further – heavy vehicle towing remains out of scope, with fees up to 10x other jurisdictions.
