Over 80 scientific staff from five different states and project locations participated recently in a three-day training and exposure visit at ICRISAT headquarters. This event offered a valuable opportunity for cross-learning and collaboration.

In line with our commitment under the @planttreaty, ICRISAT Genebank is repatriating 158 samples of 4 crops to #SouthKorea’s national Genebank. This recent consignment, flagged off by DG ICRISAT Dr @hughes_jackie and overseen by Dr Kuldeep Singh, Head of ICRISAT Genebank and team, extends our efforts to restore lost crop plant diversity to 12 national programs, worldwide, since Plant Treaty implementation.

We are delighted to receive recognition from the honorable Prime Minister of India, @narendramodi, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, @myogiadityanath, and Member of Parliament, @AnuraagJhansi, for our successful water conservation initiatives under @jaljeevan_ in Bundelkhand.
