Romanian international Marius Niculae signed for @ICTFC in 2007 after a spell with Bundesliga side Mainz. He played 35 SPL games for Caley scoring 8 goals. Niculae also earned 44 Romania caps and scored 15 goals at international level & now works as their U21 sporting director.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏟️ Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC will host a Women’s Under-23 International Friendly next month as @ScotlandNT take on the Netherlands at the Sarens PSG Stadium, Inverness. The match will take place on Monday, 2 March 2026, with a 7.00pm kick-off. Mick McArdle’s side opened their 2026 programme with a tough home defeat to Sweden at Stark’s Park, before bouncing back in impressive fashion with an outstanding 3–1 victory away to Italy. Their most recent outing came in November, when the young side suffered a 2–0 defeat away to Belgium, ahead of their test against the Netherlands in Inverness. Admission to the match will be free, with further details to follow.

📅On this day in 2014 ICT stage a late comeback against Hearts to reach their first major final Subbed on in the 87th minute, Nick Ross levelled the match on 94 minutes to send the game to extra time and eventually penalties, with Ross Draper tucking away the winning penalty
