On Friday, IDM partnered with the Judiciary & ODPP to support prison decongestion at Marsabit GK Prison. Out of 15 files reviewed by Hon. Justice Francis Olel, 10 inmates were released. Justice served. Dignity restored. 💛 #AccessToJustice #PrisonDecongestion #LegalAid #Marsabit

The dialogue created space for empathy youth spoke about lost opportunities, women shared their burden of insecurity, and elders reflected on loss of authority and property. Through these voices, the community recognized that conflict hurts all, but peace empowers all💔➡️💖

During the group discussions community members openly shared the challenges affecting peaceful coexistence from competition over grazing areas and land to misinformation during droughts and political rivalry. These honest reflections laid the foundation for understanding/healing
