My top-3 TEs for the 2026 NFL Draft have been Kenyon Sadiq, Oscar Delp and Sam Roush. There's a decent gap of talent between those three players and the next group of TEs.

The last outfielder signed/drafted and developed by Cleveland to hit 25 home runs in a season was Manny Ramirez in 2000. That last OF of any type to hit 25 HRs in a season for Cleveland was Grady Sizemore in 2008. Chase DeLauter is 2/25ths of the way there after 1 game.

Caleb Downs likely fell out of the conversation at Pick 5 after today. - 30.25” arms are really bad - 73.25” wingspan is really bad - Sub-6’0” tall isn’t ideal - Posses 0 standout athletic traits and ducked the combine These things on their own aren’t that concerning for his stock as a ‘generational’ safety prospect, but put them all together and it definitely damages his stock a lot.

They had talent and coaches though (if we assume Sherrone Moore didn’t lose his shit until later or someone else was doing the work)

The part of the scheme that’s ignored is the duration… do they ever build up the program and get momentum without it?

Many won’t like this but:
With Jessie Minter getting the Ravens job, Harbaugh taking the Chargers to the playoffs in back to back seasons following a 5-12 year, and Mike Macdonald heading to the SB, you simply cannot throw the “Michigan cheated” stuff around and be taken seriously.

Greg Sankey just got shoved in a locker. This clown convinces the ADs to move to a 9 game SEC schedule with the expectation of a 16 team playoff expansion. Now, the SEC is going to eat each other alive, with numerous 9-3 teams that won’t make the playoffs.
