Dermoscopy is not only used for enhancing the diagnostic confidence, but may also be useful for monitoring the treatment effectiveness. A research paper by Stahlie et al. evaluates dermoscopic follow up of metastatic melanoma treated with talimogene laherparepvec. Interesting!

Linear BCCs are really peculiar cancers following the skin tension lines. A series of these rare pigmented tumors has recently been characterized in a paper by @DrCristianMD et al. in Dermatology Practical and Conceptual. doi.org/10.5826/dpc.12…

Polarized #dermatoscopy may reveal critical clues to #skincancer. Interestingly, the paper by Chin Whybrew, @PietkiewiczPP, @IhorKohUa, @akay_bengu, Justin C Chia and @CliffRosendahl shows that not all polarized-light devices display these structures. dpcj.org/index.php/dpc/…
