Basın meslek örgütleri, tutuklu gazeteci Alican Uludağ’ın yarın görülecek davası öncesinde Ankara Adliyesi önünde bir araya geldi. Meslektaşları, Uludağ’ın serbest bırakılması gerektiğini belirterek, “Gazetecilik suç değildir” dedi. Açıklama öte yandan, rıza dışında SEGBİS ile savunmanın Anayasal hak ihlali olduğu da belirtildi. Eylemde, “Gazetecilik suç değildir, özgür basın susturulamaz” ve “Alican çıkacak yine yazacak” sloganı atıldı. Gazetecilik meslek örgütleri, İsmail Arı, Merdan Yanardağ ve Pınar Gayıp’ın serbest bırakılması gerektiğini de vurguladı. Gazeteciler, meslektaşları için ellerinde, “Haber engellenirse halk susar, Alican Uludağ’a özgürlük” ve “Basın hürdür, susturulamaz” yazılı dövizler taşıdı.
