Tip for my Indian friends when talking about the Bhojshala Mandir case with western liberals, especially those with an open mind:
1) Use the term "restorative justice", and then explain how and why these structures were built - to impose dominance over the native religion, to subjugate the indigenous traditions, etc.
2) Use the example of the removal of Confederate statues in Southern states as a bridge to their understanding. Talk about how the continued existence of physical monuments to past actions of violence and subjugation, are a reinforcement of the subjugation on the victims of the suffering
