agree, same applies to hacking.
even worse is fully outsourcing understanding to it. at some point it gets stuck, and once that happens, if you never built the mental model yourself, you have no way to keep navigating the search space.
people learn by doing, not by passively reading blogs or books. same applies to using llms.

It may change, but there is no way you can do great stuff with AI assistant in programming if you are not yourself a seasoned programmer.
