@gizemceylan1 Given the growing concern over misinformation in the media, what do you believe are the most effective ways to address and reduce its spread? I'd also love to hear your thoughts on how we can improve public trust in the information we consume.

For the 2️⃣ year in a row, the Golden Hawks are off to the Yates Cup. Only this time, it’s at home at University Stadium.
It’s been nearly 20 years since the last time the Yates Cup was hosted at Laurier. Don’t miss your chance to say “I was there”

In Week 1, I created my own cartoon introducing myself and said something interesting about myself. In Week 2, I learned about learning theories and wrote a post about constructivism. In Week 3, I took on a challenge and performed a verse of a German song.

@EM203RehmanM It’s interesting to see how the digital age is impacting us in EM203! I agree that it influences how we learn and think. I often multi-task and choose videos over textbooks too. We’re lucky to have technology today. In the past, learning was much more challenging.
English

In the first few lessons of EM203 my biggest takeaway is how much digital age is changing us. It has changed the way we learn and think. I can't remember the last time I did school work and wasn't multi-tasking. I would rather watch a Youtube video than read textbook #EM203Robin

@EM203_JSidhu It’s surprising to see I'm part of the 39% who sleep with their phones too! It makes me feel less alone in this habit. But I also appreciate how important it is to connect with friends and family in real life. Finding that balance is necessary!
English

The first lessons showed me how I am a part of that 39% who sleep with their phone. It's fascinating to believe many other individuals have the same habit. However, I was able to see how I am also very social and interactive with friends and family! #EM203Robin

@EM203yaleryani I totally agree! Using multimedia in learning makes a big difference. Combining videos, images, and text helps everyone understand complex ideas more easily. This approach keeps students engaged and motivated!!
English

My biggest takeaway from the first three weeks of #EM203Robin is how much technology has changed the ways we learn. Lesson three on multimedia helped me realize that using a mix of videos, images, and text, rather than just text, makes it easier to grasp complicated concepts.
