@LCptbo The IJC is aware and monitoring the issue, however, it does not comment on domestic policy. The IJC's Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Board has the authority to report on water quality - if a project may potentially impact aquatic ecosystem health they can report to the IJC 1/2

@IJCsharedwaters do what are you going to do to protect the Boundary waters in the Rainy River watershed now that the USA has removed protections and a Chilean mining giant can move right in to destroy it? Asking for Canadians!?
