I'm all for trying to reduce down online clothes returns, but to do so, can we please first agree that a size 14 pair of jeans will consistently be a size 14 pair of jeans, and not, dependent on the retailer, a size 16/14/12/10/8/6/size that would roughly fit my cat. Thank you.

Social media gets a lot of bad press for the toxicity that it can bring, but I've been carefully curating my feed on here, to the point that it now almost exclusively just shows me cats doing ridiculous things, and I cannot tell you how much joy that brings me 😊

Went out for a walk. Walked past a group of young lads, who declared "This has been such a great day," as they discussed the feats they'd achieved on their bikes. Then I found a lost earthworm on the pavement and put it back in some long grass. 10/10 for wholesomeness 👍

One of my absolute favourite things is when I read a book and find a word that I've never heard of before, and then I look it up, and now I've learnt a brand new word. I suspect this makes me weird, but if I'm honest, I don't really care 😊

Really testing my "you can't eat that..... it's for Christmas" mantra tonight, by agreeing to the 16y.o having four of his friends to sleep over, mere hours after our Christmas food delivery arrived. Fascinated to see who wins out in the battle of Teenagers v Fridge.....
