Today's Canadian reprint era (1948-53) book is Stardust Trail 6 which reprints the cover from the American Darling Love 7 which, itself, uses the image of its first splash page for its cover. Also notable is the back cover ad for the Collins Joke Shop in Ottawa. Fun to collect.

Here's a Canadian reprint era (1948-53) book using an internal splash page by Edmond Good for its cover image. Wonderful Adventures 20 reprints the American Dagar, Desert Hawk 23. Notice both the numbers 19 and 20 on the cover.

Thanks to @theramonperez and Ho Che Anderson as well as an engaged audience of over 30 people who wanted to find out more about those great Canadian war time superheroes for a great panel at FanExpo today. The rest of the con was a zoo, of course!

Did you know that Ho Che Anderson has a favourite Canadian Golden Age character and it is Adrian Dingle's the Penguin! In fact, Ho Che, myself, and @theramonperez will be presenting a panel at FAN EXPO Canada on Sunday at 10:15 in Room 713B on Canadian war time superheroes.

For all of you who will be attending the Sunday of FanExpo I will be doing a panel with @theramonperez and Ho Che Anderson about The Canadian Super Heroes of WW II. The panel will be at 10:15 on the 700 level in Rm 713 come and share this early part of Canadian comic culture.
