Today was our annual Little Lions Sports Day! It's awesome to see our future educators working stations and teaching our 4L students. These interactions are what made it a @VDOE_News Excellence Award winning program .

LCHS Culinary Arts instructor Chef Howell had the Little Lions Learning Lab BUZZING today with his un-BEE-lievable facts! 🐝 Bees can fly 3 miles in just a single trip! 🐝 Bees can visit up to 2,000 flowers per day! 🐝 An average hive has 50,000 to 60,000 worker bees!

Flashback to COVID school closings: It felt like we had a chance to do something different with teaching & learning, but as soon as the powers that be deemed it “safe”, we went back to the same methods that we complained about before the pandemic. That still weighs on me.
