This appears to be an execution by immigration enforcement. I am absolutely heartbroken, horrified, and appalled that federal agents murdered another member of our community. It is beyond shameful these federal agents are targeting our residents instead of protecting them. This isn’t isolated or accidental. The Trump administration is trying to beat us into submission rather than protect us. This administration cannot continue violating constitutional rights under the guise of immigration enforcement. ICE and CBP must leave Minnesota immediately. Their presence is terrorizing our communities, violating rights, and taking lives with zero accountability. Minnesota was once a place of refuge, and Trump has turned it into a war zone where unchecked federal forces murder our neighbors.

House Republicans just rejected the Senate's deal to end the DHS shutdown. 🤦🏽‍♀️ They would rather let TSA workers go unpaid than sacrifice a single dollar of funding for ICE. It's reprehensible.

It is preposterous for the White House and the Pentagon to think of requesting any defense money from Congress while waging a war we never authorized, let alone $200 billion. Recent reporting has shown that this war is already costing American taxpayers between $1 and $2 billion a day and has caused the deaths of 13 servicemembers, nearly 1,500 Iranian civilians, and dozens of civilians throughout the Middle East. Donald Trump owns this war. He walked us into this catastrophic and deeply unpopular war. This is a war of choice with no apparent endgame. Instead of getting us into another quagmire, this money could go towards lowering costs for Americans, including by fully funding the ACA tax credits, feeding hungry kids, and taking care of our veterans. Workers' compensation is a promise we made to federal workers—that if you're injured while serving the public, we will not abandon you. As we work to modernize these programs, we must ensure our reforms don’t sacrifice the protections & earned benefits injured workers rely on.
