Today, I questioned Supreme Court Justices Elena Kagan and Amy Coney Barrett at a House Appropriations hearing about the exponential rise of “shadow docket” decisions.
These backdoor rulings let the Court make important decisions quickly, often without the full public process or explanation used in normal cases. The Supreme Court needs reform.

My former colleague from Wisconsin, @RepRibble, co-wrote an excellent op-ed on the dangers of the SAVE Act. Reid is a Republican, and even he agrees this bill goes too far.
It's already illegal for non-citizens to vote. The SAVE Act would instead make it harder for eligible Americans to register and vote, especially women whose current legal name does not match their birth certificate.
