@KevHughesie And think about how Emery asks us to play. Such low intensity it must be hard to play your way into the side… we are so slow & boring, almost walking pace that when we go behind, players struggle to react to increase intensity. Especially when spurs were pressing well.

The Forest players brought into the team today and given a chance from the start showing the hunger and intensity of wanting to make a strong impression, possibly push for more frequent starts. Which is how it should work.

#AVFC have started very well, here. Tielemans forces a save from Ortega, but it comes from both he and Onana making great tackles on Jesus, stopping a transition. Shows the value of them

#AVFC trying to pass quickly into Rogers/McGinn/Buendia as Fulham's full-backs are not always in positions to press if they've just lost the ball, so all three should be in good areas to receive and turn. Tuchel is here, so a good chance for Watkins to force his way back in.

@WHUFC_News Do agree… as a Villa fan I’ve watched it this year. Didn’t watch a second of it last year… not even the final. Have no interest in conference league either. Champions league has too many teams now which devalues other tournaments #avfc
