The U.S. House is set to vote next week on a budget measure that could include funding for the Iran war, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise said. The administration has requested about $87.6 billion for the conflict and other Pentagon priorities.

CENTCOM Commander Adm. CENTCOM added that the strikes come as U.S. forces prepare to enforce a naval blockade of Iranian ports and coastal areas, set to begin at 4 p.m. ET.
