Got into crypto in 2016, and the last 8 years has been a solid 2/10 in terms of what has been built. We were promised a decentralized world with power transferred to the people from large corporations. What we got were tokens with absolutely no utility or intrinsic value. Endless copies of the same L1 or L2, only being used for speculative gambling. Tokens hold absolutely no value, and your dapp has no need for it. It doesn't represent equity, and there's no revenue share. What tokens have become is a way for insiders to make a quick buck at the people's expense. You're going to say "What about xyz project!?", spoiler, it doesn't need a token. The 2 points are awarded from the ability to do onchain loans and easy stablecoin transfers. Everything else is absolute trash. My big takeaway: Bitcoin only.
