Fungal Friday 🧫 | C. auris in unexpected places
During a major Candida auris outbreak in London, researchers used IMMY’s AurisID® PCR assay to detect C. auris directly from hospital wastewater, even when cultures were negative.
💡 AurisID® showed 100% sensitivity across affected wards, proving its value in outbreak tracing and environmental surveillance.
