In the park today? You might notice the American flag that flies next to Independence Hall is down. We're repainting the flagpole to get ready for Flay Day this Saturday, June 14, 2025. The flag will be back up tomorrow once the paint dries and cures. #america250 #restoration

Closure Notice: Starting Monday, April 14, 2025, Wilson Park (also known as Christ Church Park) and the Magnolia Garden will be closed for turf renovations. The work is expected to last for 3.5 weeks. Check our website for updates.

Beginning Friday, March 28, 2025, the security entrance for Independence Square will be moved to the south side of Independence Hall. Visitors can access the entrance using the stairs or accessible ramp halfway down 5th Street between Chestnut and Walnut Streets.
