INFO Debrief post-resusc has become the norm here in YYC. Anyone on the team can request one, they are usually Charge RN led, and all those involved in the case are invited to join (MD, RN, RT, PCA, EMS, SW, learners, etc) It helps to know we're not alone in the aftermath.

In-situ sim is great but we miss opportunities every shift to learn from real experiences and support our teams dealing with those experiences.

We frame it as just another resus patient who comes in. And throw in some incentives (ie. coffee, gift cards).
