His dedication to lifelong learning, mentorship, and alumni engagement exemplifies the spirit of INSEAD.  With over three decades of leadership in the global pharmaceutical industry, Claude Perol has left an indelible mark on the sector. From pioneering the Hepatitis B vaccine joint venture in Taiwan to holding key executive roles at Sanofi - including VP of Central & Eastern Europe and Commercial VP in the USA - his career has been defined by strategic vision and a commitment to excellence. In 2017, after retiring from Sanofi, Claude launched his own consulting boutique, where he shared his expertise with the industry.  Claude’s impact extends far beyond the corporate world. A passionate INSEAD alumnus, he has dedicated himself to giving back to the INSEAD community in multiple ways. As Deputy Director of the INSEAD Alumni Association France (IAAF), he played a crucial role in shaping alumni initiatives and served as secretary of the board and ExCo member. In his role as VP of Career Development, Claude led efforts to support alumni in their professional growth - whether it was navigating career transitions, exploring new industries, or seeking executive opportunities. Through mentoring, networking events, and tailored career resources, he has helped countless alumni advance their careers.  Claude is also a committed donor, contributing significantly to the French scholarship fund, ensuring that future generations of talented students have the opportunity to benefit from an INSEAD education.
