@SaitaPickleLick @Travis_Kling @DeatonforSenate True. And as we can see with Trump, claiming to be the "crypto president" isn't showing to be entirely true except for his own pockets. I didnt like the tariffs, all the companies just got to double dip, and there's no way trump thought SCOTUS was just allow it. They're all POS.

@INTRICATESPACE @Travis_Kling @DeatonforSenate Kamala came out pro crypto in the end and said she’d support it, but it was too late and she lost that base. The cycle would’ve been better tho imo, no tariffs causing fear of inflation which led to no cuts, no qe. This also shows what you’re saying, that it’s inevitable

You can't help but laugh at the irony- 1) Trump elected as the crypto president. 2) Trump pulls in $1.4 BILLION in crypto profits in 2025 from grift/scams/bribes. 3) Crypto legislature gets to the 1-yard line in Senate. 4) Dems are so pissed at how egregious the Trump grift/scams/bribes are, they want real teeth in the ethics provisions of the bill. 5) Trump refuses. Only agrees to super light ethics provisions. 6) Bill can't pass. Crypto legislature dies on the floor. The "crypto president" clears $1.4bn in crypto grift/scams/bribes (in year 1) and doesn't pass a crypto bill. Honestly exactly what the crypto industry deserves.

Ah, I see. In those cases absolutely. There's definitely a lot of self-serving going on. Personally, I don't like Kamala and their agenda, which is for other topics I feel no need to get into right now. For the topic at hand, Crypto, do I think she would have been better for it? Who knows honestly. I've been studying "great resets" and the history of currency for a long time. The documents found through deep dives from banks, governments and other financial institutions have been talking about the year 2030 for a long time, so I think they're all working together to make that happen without appearing that way. In other words, I think we'd probably be having this discussion regardless of who was president. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've been in communities discussing this specific reset for awhile now, and the timeline seems to be right on schedule for the financial reset revolving around 2030. Time will tell.

@INTRICATESPACE @Travis_Kling @DeatonforSenate I’m referring to trumps non crypto trading just like Nancy. He’s traded on inside knowledge. Beyond his inside knowledge he’s manipulated markets, gave massive contracts to his kids companies, launched his memes, etc. at the end of the day, Kamala would’ve been better imo

Very possible. But Pelosi has insider knowledge, which using is an ACTUAL crime, vs trump just creating a coin and people buying I'm just because of his name are two separate things legally. He made money because idiots bought it. Pelosi made money from inside knowledge. At the end of the day, they're both scummy, and it's hard to prove either one actually used inside knowledge to make that money. So the law about insider trading is almost moot. Do I think the democrats are wrong about nit allowing politicians and their families to make money on the markets? Not necessarily. But do I think we should stop clarity because of it? No. Even if they did make it illegal to make money on crypto or stocks, would it stop them? No. They'll always find a loophole. They'll use a friend, or something else. There's just too much gray area that I don't think we will ever have a perfect answer too. Will people get hurt trading crypto? Certainly. But again, I don't think we should halt the bill over that. History shows democrats have been against crypto pretty much from the start. I feel like they're latching onto this argument to halt progress. That's all.

@INTRICATESPACE @Travis_Kling @DeatonforSenate The president of the US scammed people with a meme coin and they lost hundred millions. Two coins actually lol. Just crazy, even if not a crime. But if u believe Pelosi is a criminal for her trading activity then u have to also believe trump is.

I think we do have more in common for sure. As far as Trump and his coin goes, what I meant by our definition of crime is different, he technically didn't break any laws. I saw no promises made with his coin. No one forced anyone to buy his coin. I didn't buy any even though I'm a crypto investor because I knew better. Did he scam people? Maybe, but again, no one forced them to. Anyone buying that BS was in their own echo chamber of their love for Trump, which is just weird in itself lol.

Our definitions of crime are clearly different. If you want evidence of crime, look at the ones on your side of the fence, for example Pelosi? And Elizabeth Warren has done nothing but claimed crypto had no use case other than for fraud and criminal activity, which couldn't be further from the truth. My point isn't even to just attack democrats. I just think there's a lot more to it. Democrats have a huge footprint of trying to delay progress and change the law under the guise of "protection, equality, and ethics", when they are constantly breaking constitutional laws. And yes, Republicans have their fair share of problems too. Again, I'm not here to defend Trump.

@INTRICATESPACE @Travis_Kling @DeatonforSenate I disagree. All crypto was already at risk based on the circumstances as applied to howey. We have one admin trying to protect people in a new space without clear rules, and the current that is literally ripping people off. Congrats, u won and now crime is legal as a consequence

"The SEC focused on on Ripple's centralized role in creating, distributing, and promoting XRP to fund its business". This applies to most crypto currencies, including Ethereum which got a free pass and never got sued regardless of the fact that they had an ICO, AND that they hid who the investors were that were distributed ETH under contract. Sure, perhaps BTC wouldn't have fallen under these circumstances, but most crypto currencies would have this same problem due to how they were created and distributed. The problem was the way they attacked XRP specifically instead of just Ripple the company. Ripple didn't even create XRP. XRP was created before Ripple was an official company. If the argument is that the founders of Ripple were involved with the creation of XRP, then BTC could fall under the same umbrella because the founder still holds 1 million BTC, even if there's no company involved. That BTC is his, and if he decided to fund a company and be involved in the company, there should be no issue. That's HIS money. Same for the Ripple founders. Some people take issue with Ripple's escrow and majority holdings of XRP. That's another arguement/issue. Point being, the way they attacked XRP put most cryptos (admittedly not all) at risk.

@INTRICATESPACE @Travis_Kling @DeatonforSenate No they didn’t claim that. And no court would ever rule that all are securities without going through howey. Gensler went overboard but at least he was arguably trying to protect investors rather than crypto intentionally ripping them off by rugging meme coins

@SaitaPickleLick @Travis_Kling @DeatonforSenate Of course I know that, but the SEC claimed otherwise. That's exactly my point, and why we fought against it. They don't care what the law is, they will still try to get their way. Happens all the time, which is why most laws don't follow the constitution these days.

I'm not defending Trump. In the Ripple case, certain transactions were deemed securities because there was a contract involved. The part you left out is that during the entire lawsuit, hey attacked XRP and claimed it was in itself a security. @DeatonforSenate and some of us holders joined in on the lawsuit to tell them XRP isn't a security. If it wasn't for us, they would have an entire federal case to refer back to explicitly stating that crypto currencies are securities simply for existing.

@michaelmezz Just shows you how worthless these economics degrees are. You probably knew more about economics before you enrolled in Stamford as you may have had some common sense. Your professors were likely socialists too. That a big part of the problem.

I love when people reply to my posts saying I “must have flunked out of economics” When in fact, I graduated with distinction from Stanford Econ (with a 4.0 GPA) lol The reason I’m a socialist is I studied this topic deeply & realized socialism is needed to build a better world

The point is that working and saving honestly is not enough. A system REQUIRING you to invest is a corrupt system. The goal post keeps moving because of corruption, not because of a natural, freeflowing economy. It's always no picture throw away accounts like yours who think they're experts.

My sister has been saving for a house down payment for 6 years. $500 a month. Every month. No exceptions. She skipped vacations. Drove the same car for a decade. Packed lunch every single day. Last month she finally hit $60,000. She called me excited. Ready to start looking. Then her realtor sent her the numbers. Average home in her area: $520,000. She needs $104,000 for 20% down to avoid PMI. She's $44,000 short. After 6 years of sacrifice. She asked me what she did wrong. Nothing. She did everything right. The finish line just moved faster than she could run. She's 34. Single. No kids. Good job. Perfect credit. And she's still not enough for a system that keeps adjusting the rules mid-game.

To this day there's nothing in the scene that even comes close to @nitepunk's Red Turbulence EP, and I was in high school when @Skrillex blew up. I was OBSESSED with Skrillex. Everything I hear now is immediately compared to Red Turbulence, and I'm always left disappointed. Nitepunk, I'm BEGGING you. PLEASE make more like that. After over a decade of learning production, I don't really do it anymore. But that EP is the standard for me.
