@LawrieHooper It’s more admin on the sector too - setting up different toll codes etc. why not just help the whole customer and sector out by reducing VAT full stop OR increasing the threshold for small businesses.

The reality is this discount will be up to businesses to pass on to customers, many won’t (simply because of the cost/hassle of making temporary changes to prices / menus etc) Probably better to describe this as “business support” rather than a cost of living boost
