𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁? The Model Heat Action Plan for Patna is not another generic state-level template. It is built on a hyper-local risk architecture constructing a Heat Vulnerability Index and a composite Heat Risk Index. The model integrates near-term and mid-term climate projection scenarios that enables planners and policy makers in risk-informed planning. The plan goes further by embedding a live digital Decision Support System (DSS) and web portal, allowing district officials to visualise heat hotspots, overlay demographic and infrastructure data, and plan targeted responses in real time: 𝗮 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝗼𝗳-𝗶𝘁𝘀-𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹. The initiative and its capacity-building workshop received prominent recognition from Patna state authorities and leading newspaper dailies across Bihar signalling growing institutional momentum, aimed at supporting the transition from plan preparation to effective on-ground operationalisation of heat resilience measures that reduce structural drivers of urban overheating. The Atmanirbhar Panchayat initiative by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj marks a transformative step towards building financially self-reliant Panchayats across the country. On 2nd May 2026 in Hyderabad, an engaging outreach programme brought together 300+ participants from across Telangana, including Panchayat representatives, government officials, and sector experts. The programme focused on identifying innovative, revenue-generating ideas and shaping them into bankable, scalable projects. With strong emphasis on community participation through Gram Sabhas, the programme ensures that development is inclusive, participatory, and locally driven. We take pride to share that IPE Global Limited is supporting this visionary initiative as the Programme Management Unit (PMU) for the Panchayat Revenue Enhancement Cell (PREC). As technical assistance, we are supporting across the different themes which is going to accelerate vibrant economy and prosperity of Gram Panchayats across the country. The MoU was formalized, in the presence of Shri. Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Maharashtra, and Shri. Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Hon’ble Minister, Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Department, Government of Maharashtra and was exchanged between Ms. Manisha Verma, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary of SEEID and Mr. MK Padma Kumar, COO of IPE Global.  The formal event took place at Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai on 27th April 2026. The partnership reaffirms Maharashtra’s commitment to advancing women’s participation in the formal workforce and embodies the inclusive growth ambition of the Viksit Maharashtra 2047 vision. Transforming Potential into Progress: Maha-Chatur AI Chatbot Initiative! Glad to Launch the ‘Maha-Chatur AI Chatbot’ developed by the Department of Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation to bring innovative transformation in the Apprenticeship Sector and to save time for employment-oriented candidates at Sahyadri Guest House, Mumbai. The Maha-Chatur AI chatbot will drive skills, employment and entrepreneurship by offering training, job opportunities and guidance on a single platform, empowering Maharashtra’s youth. Accessible via WhatsApp, it will provide timely guidance, supported by initiatives such as Centres of Excellence, ITI modernisation, women’s participation and strategic partnerships. As the third-largest subnational economy, Maharashtra is poised for accelerated growth, with ‘Maha-Chatur’ driving a new era of skilling, employment and innovation. IPE Global, Project Management Consultant (PMC) for Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (@tesdaofficial ), under the Supporting Innovation in the Philippine Technical and Vocational Education and Training System (SIPTVETS), has facilitated first international benchmarking visit to India from 11-22 April 2026. In continuation to the visit 25 TESDA delegation led by Secretary and Director General Jose Francisco “Kiko” B. Benitez in New Delhi, the delegation, under leadership of Mr. Gilbert M. Castro (Director and Project Manager- SIPTVETS), visited few institutions across India (Palwal, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal) to gain practical insights into diverse TVET delivery models in India. The delegation’s benchmarking visit covered leading skill and training institutions, including Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU), World Skill Center (WSC), Central Tool Room and Training Centre (1991), Skill Development Institute (2016), Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Cuttack, National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR) Bhopal, and Sant Shiromani Ravidas Global Skills Park (GSP). The exposure to India’s industry-aligned skilling ecosystem is expected to significantly strengthen the Philippine TVET system by informing TESDA’s development of Regional TVET Innovation Centers (RTICs) under SIPTVETS. Recently, team IPE Global Limited visited Kenya for a series of ecosystem mapping and stakeholder consultations as part of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office- funded Biosciences Landscape Mapping Study in Kenya, being implemented by IPE Africa in collaboration with the University of Nairobi. The study aims to develop a comprehensive, evidence-based understanding of Kenya’s biosciences landscape across healthcare, agricultural biotechnology, industrial biotechnology, and the broader bioeconomy. It examines research translation, innovation scale-up, financing mechanisms, and ecosystem strengthening, while integrating foresight analysis and emerging technology trends to identify high-potential sectors and future growth opportunities within the biosciences ecosystem. During the visit, the team engaged a wide range of stakeholders, including research institutions, academia, innovation enablers, private sector actors, development partners, and policymakers, through key informant interviews. These interactions provided critical insights into sectoral gaps, structural bottlenecks, and emerging opportunities shaping the current and future landscape. The consultations also surfaced actionable recommendations to strengthen the ecosystem, accelerate research-to-commercialisation pathways, and explore deeper UK - Kenya collaboration in biosciences and innovation. This visit marks an important milestone in grounding the study in field-based perspectives and validating early insights through an inclusive, systems-driven approach.
