Somewhere in the @thecollegeview archives there's an interview I did with Sophie in 2018. She had Tokyo in her sights and she made it as part of the mixed relay team. 3 years later and she's hundredths of a second away from an Olympic medal. All five women should be very proud.

As an All Ireland winner at underage level, I loved the feeling of hitting the board. You can tell if it's a good jump right away and I prided myself on always getting every last cm. Taking it away would take away the adrenaline rush you get mid air and the risk of fouling.

Looks like the majority want things to stay as they are, which isn't a surprise. Still think the change would improve things from a fan perspective, trimming the fat, shortening the duration of the event, and making every jump count.
