What better way to investigate reversible changes in science today than by making our own ice cream. 🍦We learnt about states of matter and the processes that cause changes of state.🧊💦

Performance 1 of ‘The Wrong Way Round” ⭐️

In #APAReception we decided to make the most of the wonderful weather and read ‘The Nature Trail’ outside! 🌳 We then went on an insect hunt in our outdoor space and drew some pictures of what we could see 🐞🪱🕷️

Spring has well and truly arrived this week! 🌤️ In Reception we used the iPads to take pictures of any signs of Spring we could spot in our outdoor environment 🌳🪺🌸 We saw flowers growing, birds nest in trees and lots of new leaves! #APAReception

We are enjoying a show by @4Front_Theatre this afternoon.

Reception have been learning about London this week and have created maps of the capital using different mediums. We used play dough, paint, blocks and felt tips! 🌎

6W also created artwork inspired by Holes. We combined pointillism techniques and bright colours to make our art work stand out. #worldbookday2025

Lovely to have so many parents in school to read with their children this afternoon! 📚

Class 5/6 L have been learning how light allows us to see. We made “human diagrams” to demonstrate our understanding of how light enables us to see objects around us.

This half term, our UKS2 boys and girls have competed in the @CastlefordPE pyramid football tournaments. Both teams displayed fantastic teamwork and resilience! We are very proud of their achievements! Girls 🥈Boys 🥇

In #APReception today we created our own boats to test out on our river! Some peg dolls stayed nice and dry on our vessels, and some… not so much 🤦🏻‍♀️ We had so much fun! 😁

Today, we took part in the Elf Run. We wore our Christmas jumpers and sang Christmas songs around the playground. 🎄🎅🏻

Today, 6W used their knowledge of joining and a lot of resilience to create their own structures linked to our geography topic - slums 🌍

6W have used AI to create animals that would survive in different habitats. They chose an environment and selected the key characteristics of different animals to create a species that would be invincible.
