Today we celebrated the end of our Gingerbread unit with a Gingerbread RIASEC Party where we learned about being Bakers! Students made, decorated and sold their own cookies. They also created their own recipes and menus! @GombertGators @IPSD_WOW @CVWorldofWork

These 3rd grade engineers tested out paper airplane designs & analyzed the results. Each student compared designs, tested prototypes, & made design changes to improve flight performance. They learned so much about the engineering process! ✈️@IPSD_WOW @CowlishawKoalas #NGSS

5th grade ELs learned how clean water gets to @CowlishawKoalas & where wastewater goes from a real scientist! Amy Wrigley from Springbrook Water Reclamation Center @NapervilleIL helped us use satellite maps to find pipes, valves & sewer lines. @mrs_martinez79 @IPSD_WOW #NGSS
