jumping in but I feel like heavily regulated, ai has been around for years it’s just finally at a scale where it’s become so advanced and widescale. Creatively I think AI shouldn’t be no where near any creative spaces (art, music, video production) but it does have its advantages as well. I think regulation over just eliminating it as a whole.

@IPaperBagg @jarotweets Cloud gaming at this exact moment is more harmful but ai is growing and soon will 100% get worse. Again I don’t really care for AI but I won’t know anyone who uses it but I feel like acting as if the negative affects that are disproportionately effecting these communities is odd

@JasonP1erre @jarotweets There definitely needs to be regulations, but not just with AI. Curious what your thoughts are about other things that have similar waste profiles/ spike electricity costs for communities (crypto, video streaming, cloud gaming, etc).

@jarotweets Nah it’s not there’s people in Memphis losing homes and getting their air destroyed and water sucked up so people can ask grok if a story they don’t care about is real or not. It’s extremely damaging to low income communities 😭

@Daboipit Do nothing = more shootings, stricter gun laws = less shootings. What you’re saying doesn’t add up, places with strict gun control tend to see less shootings.

@IPaperBagg it has meaning, the people behind the guns are the problem not the actual guns. You put more restrictions on guns and CRIMINALS WILL GET THEM ANYWAY THATS WHY THEY ARE CRIMINALS - but instead of having people to defend themselves you will have more victims

Coming from someone whose dad was shot and killed at a young age, I can’t help but feel bad for his wife and kids. BUT HOW CAN YALL JUST FORGET ALL THE WILD SHIT HES SAID. He literally fell victim to his own ideology “gun deaths are worth it to keep the second amendment”. I think it’s important to note that we SHOULD be advocating for more gun control and not making fun of gun violence.

@Daboipit It just has no meaning behind it. An excuse for there not to be more gun control.
