My preferred Man United rebuild. Man United don’t need another confused window. Casemiro is leaving, that should be top priority. Replace him properly, not with another stopgap. Angelo Stiller should be the priority. Young, composed, progressive. Then raise the level in midfield competition. Bring in Sandro Tonali. no guaranteed starters, Mainoo fights for his place like everyone else. Depth is still an issue, and that’s where experience comes in. Leon Goretzka on a free is a no-brainer. You’re not throwing a young replacement into the deep end without support. Goretzka brings control, physicality, and Champions League pedigree. If Ugarte leaves, replace him with Matheus Fernandes. If he stays, fine keep him. But don’t pretend he’s untouchable. This midfield needs rebuilding with intent, not hesitation.
