Probationary Officers of the Indian Railways and Assistant Executive Engineers of the Central Engineering Service (Roads) called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The President said that railways and highways are not merely systems of transport; they are instruments of economic expansion, social inclusion and national integration. The President urged officers to uphold the values of public service such as integrity, accountability and commitment to excellence.

IRMS Probationers (CSE 2022 & 2023 batches) called on the Hon’ble President on 20 April 2026 at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The visit marked an important milestone in their training, reinforcing values of public service and governance.

IRITM, Lucknow hosted a symposium on “Steel Supply Chain & Indian Railways,” bringing together key stakeholders. DG /IRITM Sh. R.P. Thakur & DG/RDSO Sh. Prabhas Dansana highlighted integrated logistics, policy alignment & innovation for efficient steel movement.

IRITM hosted a Regional Workshop on Technology, iGOT & AI-Enabled Training Quality Enhancement. Headed by Ms. Chandralekha Mukherjee & graced by DG Sh. Ranjan Prakash Thakur, it was focused on iGOT Karmayogi & AI tools to build future-ready civil servants under Mission Karmayogi.

India Day & Valediction of the Railway Foundation Course (2023 & 2024 IRMS batches) was held at IRITM on 12 Feb 2026, marking successful completion of the training phase. DG Shri Ranjan Prakash Thakur congratulated the Officer Trainees for their dedication and excellence. 🇮🇳🚆

09 फरवरी 2026 को राजभवन में आयोजित समारोह में प्रादेशिक फल, शाकभाजी एवं पुष्प प्रदर्शनी–2026 हेतु संस्थान ने 15 प्रथम पुरस्कार व 11 चल वैजयंती कप प्राप्त किए। महानिदेशक श्री रंजन प्रकाश ठाकुर ने माननीया राज्यपाल श्रीमती आनंदी बेन पटेल से पुरस्कार ग्रहण किया।

Saraswati Pooja was reverently organised at IRITM on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, seeking the blessings of Maa Saraswati for wisdom, learning and excellence.

An insightful and motivating address by Lt. Gen. Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Command, was delivered today. The address offered valuable perspectives on leadership, professionalism and unwavering commitment to national service.

IRITM takes another green step, a 25 kWp solar power plant at Aadharshila Block was inaugurated by Shri Ranjan Prakash Thakur, DG, IRITM—reinforcing commitment to clean & sustainable energy

IRITM has been certified for ISO 14001:2015 EMS, underscoring its commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly institutional practices. DG Shri Ranjan Prakash Thakur congratulated the team and reaffirmed IRITM’s alignment with Indian Railways’ green vision.

On the occasion of New Year, a plantation activity was carried out at IRITM by the Director General and Additional Director General, reaffirming the Institute’s commitment to environmental sustainability and a greener future.
