IRNDP
@IRNDP_Network
The IRNDP is a multinational network bringing together researchers who are working to reduce the risk of dementia across the world. #Dementia #CognitiveHealth

Dr @NikkiAnneWilson recently published an article in “Countdown,” a school magazine distributed by @NSWEducation for children aged 7-9, explaining how the brain works. She says: “As a cognitive neuroscientist and science communicator, I believe that teaching children about brain health is critical because it helps them develop good habits that support their ability to learn and grow. We know that the habits children develop today will also give them the best chance of sustaining their brain health for longer, including reducing their risk of developing dementia in later life. Many adults still lack understanding of ways to support their brain health so by educating young people early we hope to address this limitation for future generations.”

Professor Kaarin Anstey, from @UNSW @AgeingFutures & @neuraustralia, has been appointed to the @WorldDementia Council👏 The international charity brings together 24 senior experts & leaders across 6 continents to influence all sectors to invest in dementia research & services.
