Today, many countries have specific days dedicated to raising awareness about bullying prevention, kindness, and inclusion. In Canada, students from kindergarten to high school graduation have been exposed to the message of Pink Shirt Day.

Curious about the history of the Pink Shirt Day? Here's how it started: In 2007, in Berwick, Nova Scotia, a new student at a school was bullied for wearing a pink shirt. Two grade 12 students took action by purchasing 50 pink shirts and encouraging their classmates to wear them
