Protests created and backed by the Iranian regime are planned across America this weekend, expected to attract people “glorifying terrorists.” Quds Day was created by Khomeini in 1979 to mobilize global opposition to Israel and support for Palestinians. In New York City, the Black Alliance for Peace is organizing an Al Quds day “mobilization” in Times Square, scheduled for Friday — the last day of the Islamic holy month Ramadan — and Saturday. In San Francisco, Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM) are holding a “Quds day: no to US intervention” rally against “US and Israel warmongering.” In Chicago, radical anti-Israel groups such as the ANSWER Coalition, Students for Justice in Palestine and PYM, have scheduled a protest outside the Israeli Consulate on Friday. In many places, they will be met by counterprotests from thousands of Iranians who support the US military action against the country’s hardline regime. US Senator Tom Cotton (R. Ark.) warns the protests involving PYM are “dangerous” to Americans, and called on the FBI to investigate the radical PYM and its leader Aisha Nizar. He told The Post Wednesday that the PYM’s “violent rhetoric threatens Americans’ safety. “I’ve repeatedly asked the FBI to investigate, and trust that they are taking the necessary steps to protect our citizens, including those working in our embassies and consulates abroad, from this dangerous organization,” said Cotton. New reports have found that Rama Duwaji — the wife of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani — liked multiple social media posts denying or celebrating the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel. According to several news reports, one of the posts she liked claimed that reports of Hamas-perpetrated sexual violence during the attack were a “mass r**e hoax.” Investigations found she also liked posts celebrating the attack itself and describing it as “collective liberation,” as well as other strongly anti-Israel content. The U.S. Justice Department just filed a lawsuit against the University of California on Tuesday accusing UCLA of failing to protect Jewish and Israeli employees from a "hostile work environment." 👉🏽Follow @ISGAP to help us combat antisemitism.
