✨ICWA-ISIS (Malaysia) Dialogue #Special Address on "Towards 70: The Future Trajectory of Malaysia-India Ties" by Datuk Prof Dr Mohd Faiz Abdullah, Executive Chairman, ISIS Malaysia @ISIS_MY was delivered on 13 July 2026 at 1100 hrs IST at #Sapru House. Prof Faiz stated that "both the partners in the recent past have realised the need to have a calculated engagement for dealing with turbulent global environment. Yet, as we laud demonstrated progress in bilateral ties, the two countries must guard against the risk of complacency, and not be bound by merely optics. The two partners need to frame relations in a way that leads to interdependence and interoperability to address shared challenges. And politically sensitive issues cannot become a substitute for honest engagement between the two sides. Broadly, and fundamentally, commitment towards the Global South should not be just used in advancing bilateral ties, but also for delivering public goods to the region". Amb. B.N. Reddy @BN_Reddy_8888, Former India's High Commissioner to Malaysia @hcikl chaired the Special Address and Amb. N. J. Gangte, Acting Deputy Director General, ICWA delivered the Welcome Remarks .
